Apply Fades & Trim with FFmpeg

FFmpeg   is an indispensable command-line utility for editing and managing different media types. Mostly used for video management, it can also be used to manipulate audio and image files.

This quick video tutorial looks at the means with which you can use FFMPEG to create a fade-in and/or fade-out to any video file with a few simple command line instructions. It is particularly helpful in that it does not require the use of GUI video editors and can be done quickly.
